Great Staff! Very Impressed with the quality of care I received
My son went into the ER with throwing up uncontrollably, headache, dry mouth etc. They took him directly into triage at 1:30am. At 4 am I get a call that he is in Severe Diabetic Ketoacidosis. He is a diabetic!! Up until now he was a normal, healthy 20 year old with no health problems at all!! What a shock to us and him. The ER staff, Morgan and Janna were just awesome. Friendly, helpful and what a wealth of information!! Dr. Matta was great too. The only complaint that I have is the kitchen kept sending him ( a newly diagnosed diabetic) foods that he could not eat.
The quality of medical care is sporadic, sometimes good and accurate, sometimes incorrect and follow-up for proper care or diagnosis needs to be done elsewhere. Lots of billing errors. Chances are they are going to get something wrong.
Wound care requires you to arrive 30 minutes prior to an appointment. My mother travels from an hour away and arrives on time and has been made to wait as much as two hours. She is paralyzed and this is very difficult for her. There has to be a better way
