Could not beat this price anywhere in town. Recently, visited Natchitoches for an overnight stay, found this economical hotel online. For the price everything was excellent.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for a one night stay. The front staff was friendly and efficient. We will return on our spring trip to Natchitoshes.
We arrive at hotel check-in was ok. We get to out room no problem. The problem was the phone didn't work. There was no hot water in the lavatory. There were dirty towels hang on the bathroom door. The water in the shower was lukewarm. The ice machine didn't work and the Wi-fi didn't work. Check-out the gentlemen was rude when I asked for a receipt, he wanted to email it to me.
Easy to find, normal Motel 6 curb appeal. Walking into the lobby the guy up front was friendly and accommodating. Heading to our room we drove around the building to an empty dark parking lot with poor upkeep. Heading to our room, commuting on foot, which was around the building through a dark breezeway with a pile of what looked bed linens standing probably 6 tall and about 15 feet wide. When entering the room it was dark without any sort of light switches until we made it too the bathroom sink in the back. The room was clean and to good standers. Over all a mediocre experience that I expected for a one night stay before finishing my drive to New Orleans.
For the price I paid $136 and location which was very noisy and no breakfast , I could have stayed somewhere else with better location and breakfast for the same price.. I will never stay here again... There were not many people staying at this hotel and now I see why.. This is more of a $75 hotel not a $140 for what you get.. The water had bad Oder and bathtub had rust in it.. The lobby had no heat and looked so dead looking.. The staff never smiled but was not rude and we got checked in fast is the only positive thing.. I've been to a lot of hotels and this one is well over charged for weekend... $50 is about right for the stay and quality...
