Maglieaux's food, service, and chef is phenomenal and keeps me coming back. With new creative specials each weekend, live music, and a beautiful view of cane river it's the perfect place to go. My wife and I love it! Our favorite item is the homemade bread pudding and pecan pie!
I witnessed one of the worst displays of customer service. The dispute between the management and chef against two traveling customers was atrocious. The dispute was rooted in at best a poorly designed special menu. The menu had 2 entre specials with only one price listed. The customers assumed (as would most people) that both meals were at the listed price. What happens next is what provoked me to write this review. Instead of engaging in any diplomatic resolution, the management called the cops on this couple
I highly recommend this establishment! The service, the food and the ambiance was beyond excellent! I definitely will be going back!!!!! A truly 5 STAR stop for a nice meal when visiting Natchitoches!!!!!!!
The 1 star is for the wait staff! They are way better than the owners deserve. We waited 2 hours for a table during the Christmas fireworks show , half way through our dinner ,we were given the boot. Yes, moved to another table! The owners showed up with company and made the wait staff move us. The waitresses were made to do their dirty work. The view was nice. The waitresses went beyond their duty. Fiod is over priced.....lacking! Hope they have new owners / managers soon. The owners now are running it into the ground!
I was there as a member of a bus tour on a Saturday during the week before Christmas. Although the street was crowed with traffic we had no problem being dropped off. It was the lunch hour and although crowded 15 of us only had a 5 minute wait. Our server immediately got us seated, took our beverage orders, returned with our drinks, took our meal orders for 15 separate checks and our food soon followed. All of us purposely ordered different dishes so that we could share & compare. Everything we ordered was outstanding! Great cuisine across the board! When done our server was so organized she knew who's check was who's without having to ask. We were in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes. That is almost unheard of for a restaurant that wasn't expecting a bus tour group.
My brother is here visiting from South Dakota. We took him downtown and stopped to eat lunch here. Great service from Jacob. We are out on the patio. Food was all delicious, from two appetizer sand dessert! Loved the whole experience.
