Enjoyed eating here. The food was terrific! The prices start out around $14.95 an entree. The fried fish was very tasty. I got the blackened catfish covered with jambalaya and it was awesome. Good portions. Friendly wait staff!
If you're not into all fried food, forget this place.
This is a very casual place...basucally a bar with lots of tables. The water came in plastic cups, not glasses. We fully expected plastic plates.
They were very friendly and once we ordered, VERY SLOW!! We waited a long time for our food. As far as southern fried food goes, it was good and tasty... very Cajun. But the time it took for the food to come out of the kitchen was way too long. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the water glasses full, which we appreciated!
Great food... wish the service was better, slow. Was a busy weekend though so I don't hold it against them. I'll be back!
Our server was super friendly and the food came out in good time. The food was good but not great. The catfish could've been cleaned a little better... Still had a lot of dark meat which made them taste very fishy. Batter was also slightly bland but they do provide some cajun seasoning/essence at the table so it wasn't bad. Other than that, our experience was fine.
Hubby did have a piece of pecan pie. Turns out It was chocolate pecan with caramel sauce on top. It was delicious!! It's the reason the rating went from 2 to 3 stars. But overall...we can cross that one off our list. Probably won't return.
The staff was very friendly and most of our food was great. We had a little issue with the shrimp being overcooked on one of our dishes, but otherwise it was good. The food is a little pricey and the wait can be long if you come during a busy time.
