i wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy. They could care less about your financial situation, as long as they get their money.
My experience here was terrible. First off, you basically pay about $900/month for rent, 10 channels that MIGHT work, sub-par internet, electricity (allowance for electricity is $30/month), and utilities. The rooms themselves are shoddy and in desperate need of renovation. The bathrooms are just as shoddy. It's not just the look of the rooms that are bad. The service here is just as bad. We've had to call for maintenance on several appliances in the kitchen. They did temporarily fix them, but we had to call them again to fix everything. This went on and hadn't stopped.
I decided during the Fall semester that i would cancel my lease for the Spring because i could not afford to live here. Not only did the manager decline my request, but she gave me a terrible excuse, saying that "there is no one available to take your room". On campus we have an overflow dormitory for people waiting for a room in either Columns or University Place. Within minutes i found someone who had been waiting for a room similar to my own in this overflow dormitory.
